Coastline’s ABI Program has been a leader in educating individuals living with brain injury for over 30 years. Recently the ABI Program launched a new online Cognitive & Caregiver’s Boot Camp.
- The Cognitive Boot Camp is designed to help those living with brain injury better understand brain injury and to teach compensation techniques for cognitive and psychosocial issues.
- The Caregiver’s Boot Camp will provide caretakers with information, support, resources and strategies for coping with the changes experienced after a family member sustains a brain injury.
Both camps emphasize identification of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, development of strategy building to compensate for cognitive difficulties, psychosocial adjustment, and community integration.
