Coastline’s ABI Program has been a leader in educating individuals living with brain injury for over 30 years. Recently the ABI Program launched a new online Cognitive & Caregiver’s Boot Camp.

  • The Cognitive Boot Camp is designed to help those living with brain injury better understand brain injury and to teach compensation techniques for cognitive and psychosocial issues.
  • The Caregiver’s Boot Camp will provide caretakers with information, support, resources and strategies for coping with the changes experienced after a family member sustains a brain injury.

Both camps emphasize identification of cognitive strengths and weaknesses, development of strategy building to compensate for cognitive difficulties, psychosocial adjustment, and community integration.

Spring 2010 Online Boot Camp Courses: Sped 300: Strategies for using PDA’s (Feb. 1-March 28 and April 5-May 30), Sped 301: Cognitive Strategy Building (Feb 1-May 2), Sped 302: A Guide to Brain Injury (Feb. 1-May 2), Sped 303: Community Re-integration (Feb 1-May 2).
